Gordon Hay - Orthopaedic Surgeon
Mr Gordon Hay is an Australian trained orthopaedic surgeon. He completed his MBBS at the University of Western Australia and is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and the Australian Orthopaedic Association. He completed sub-specialty training in joint replacement surgery in Switzerland and sports orthopaedic surgery in Auckland, New Zealand.
In 2012 Gordon established Geographe Bay Orthopaedics to provide an orthopaedic service to the people of Busselton, Dunsborough, Margaret River and the rest of the South West.
He operates at St John of God Hospital-Bunbury, Bunbury Hospital and the Busselton Health Campus.
Gordon has a special interest in:
- General orthopaedic trauma
- Injuries of the shoulder including rotator cuff tears and instability
- Shoulder replacement surgery
- Sports injuries of the knee including ACL reconstruction
- Knee replacement surgery
- Hip replacement surgery
- Injuries of the ankle and hindfoot
- Elbow arthroscopy
- Injuries of the wrist
- Surfing injuries
He does not perform surgery of the forefoot or spine. Gordon is happy to see public, private, workers compensation and motor vehicle insurance trust patients in his rooms.
